DOGS IN UK FOSTER (see images below)
We have a small group of experienced and knowledgeable Lincolnshire based fosterers. They work on rehabilitating and assessing our dogs, to learn more about their habits and traits in order to help them move on into their forever homes.
If you see a dog on our pages that you think would suit your home and lifestyle, but would prefer to meet them and have them assessed first, please talk to us and we can try to arrange a foster space for them to ensure you meet their needs and personality.
Application form, Home check, garden security check * and an adoption donation apply. All our dogs are vaccinated, blood tested and EU passported. We apply full rescue back up to every dog rehomed in the Lincolnshire and close surrounding area.
*we rehome each dog on its own merits - we do not require private gardens or 6ft fencing for all our dogs. For those that require full security - we will advise the fencing height required, we will request a video of the boundary & lockable gates prior to the home & garden check. We will expect the person making the video to take responsibility to physically check carefully for rotten wood panels, sections etc and gaps/holes - holes in the bottom & back of hedges - fencing should be securely fixed to suitable posts, buildings etc. - holes in wire & trellis to be small enough to contain the size of dog, walls to be securely pointed and safe (not wobbly etc) and gates to be lockable (not just latched) and not be able to be pushed out at the bottom etc. (this is not a fully extensive list but should give some indication of the extent of our checks). This will then save any disappointment at home/garden check.
We recommend you check your boundary (imagine the security required to keep vermin from entering through your boundary - as a determined escape artist will get through the smallest hole) and undertake any necessary remedial work before applying for a dog (blocking & patching up is not generally acceptable) as we will not hold a dog whilst repairs are undertaken. We reserve the right to withdraw from adoptions where boundary/fencing is inadequate.
We also recommend you inspect your boundary regularly.
